There are variety of big festivals that is celebrated here in the Philippines, one of this festival is the "SINULOG", which is celebrated in Cebu on the 3rd Sunday of January.
It is one way of worshiping Señor Sto. Niño, the child Jesus, to pay tribute to the Cebuano people showing their strong faith to the devoted one.
The Festival features a street parade with the participants wearing a coloured costumes dancing to very beat of the drums, trumpets and some native gong.
Sinulog is a very popular festival. It is not just here in the Philippines but also internationally. The reason why people from different places come here in Cebu to witness this amazing festival, it's because we Cebuano's showed them the spirit and devotion to Señor Sto. Niño in which it also a way of promoting our City throughout the country.
I had a fabulous experience celebrating this year's Sinulog Festival. Despite the fact that it was tiring but the feeling of celebrating it with my love ones is simply amazing.
